Please remember there is no school on Monday so we look forward to seeing all the smiling faces on Tuesday.
MAP reports are ready and will be shared via Parent Portal on Tuesday afternoon around 4:00. To access your child's MAP report, please log into Parent Portal and the MAP report will be in your child's eBackpack, which is the same place you can see your child's report cards and recent CogAT reports. Please reach out if you have any questions!
Thank you to all the families who have sent in caps and lids for our Bottle Caps to Benches project! Please see below for more information and keep those caps coming!

Fine Arts Weekend
The District Art Show is BACK for Sycamore’s Fine Arts Weekend! The show will be held at Sycamore High school, 7400 Cornell Road. Artwork from Sycamore students (K-12) will be showcased in the gymnasium. 150 Maple Dale Students will have artwork scattered throughout the gym marked with “RED” tags to help you locate them. Students have chosen to turn in artwork for the show and the 150 will be chosen through a lottery system so that is fair to all students. Along with these 150 student works the 4th graders who chose to have their clay dragon eye in the show will have a reserved table for their work. These dragon eyes do not count towards the 150 other artworks selected. Please come see the amazing Art, our Sycamore students have worked so hard to bring to life this year. The theme of the 2022 District Art show is “Still Thriving.”

Kindergarten Registration Opens January 17th
We are excited to welcome the Sycamore Class of 2035!
Kindergarten registration for the 2022-23 school year will begin on January 17, 2022. Registrations will not be accepted prior to that date. Children must be 5 years old by September 30, 2022 in order to attend kindergarten.
Sycamore offers half-day kindergarten in AM and PM sessions. A tuition-based full-day option is also available at each of our elementary schools. Because of the demand, families who are interested in full-day kindergarten are entered into a lottery. You must have a completed registration as well as submission of the deposit and agreement by February 18, 2022, to be considered for the lottery. Lottery results are emailed the week of February 28, 2022.

Bottle Caps to Benches!
Our goal is to collect enough caps for a bench to install near our Gaga Pit along with an additional trash can. We are hoping to be able to get a rainbow color bench to remember our fun and successful Color Run from this fall! Please support this project by collecting caps and sending them to school! You can click here for acceptable caps as well as see the pictures below. Thank you to our wonderful PTO for helping to support this project as well.
