A Note from Mrs. Mathe

We had a fabulous time today with our first PAWS-itive awards at lunches! We loved watching students smile as they were recognized for reaching their personal goals in math and reading as well as exhibiting kindness at school. Each month we will host PAWS-itive awards to celebrate our students! Tune in next month for more award winners!

Powell T-Shirt Orders

Powell t-shirts were sold at the beginning of the year through a "made to order" type system. We have a small committee of teachers who work during the summer to design the shirts and find a company that can support sales to our families. The company we chose to support is a small business. We understand that there was some confusion with sizes while ordering. Although we are unable to exchange the shirts (as we do not have extras on hand), or refund you for the shirts, we have been able to open the site back up (at no additional charge to us) so you have the opportunity to order shirts of the appropriate size. To recoup funds for wrong shirt sizes, consider posting the unwanted shirts on your neighborhood Facebook pages.

If you ordered the wrong size the first round, or if you missed out on the opportunity to order earlier in the year, the t-shirt store will be open from today through September 29th. Orders will be delivered to students the week of October 18th.
