Spread the Word

Our school-wide assembly on Monday, March 4th will focus on spreading kindness in conjunction with Spread the Word to End the Word Day (March 6th). Students can plan to wear gray, blue, or white clothing. A small band from Central high school will perform, and we will also have a special guest speaker!

Greeting Wilder Families,

With March bringing the “hope” of spring, we are also faced with how quickly these final 3 months of school tend to go. That is why our work at school becomes an even more urgent task as this new month begins. Your children’s teachers have high expectations for their students and we want to make every day at school count! Thanks for continuing to make regular school attendance a priority at your house. Thanks, also, for your attendance at Parent/Teacher conferences. We appreciate the continued communication when you have concerns and/or questions about your child’s progress. Your support for your child’s school experience has such a positive impact on his/her learning. Thank You!

March is a busy month at school. We promote "radiating respect" with our monthly themes and assemblies, and we look forward to Monday's topic which will be "Spread the Word to End the Word". We will have some guests and we always look forward to that.

Our parents' night is being scheduled for April 11. We will combine our Math and Reading topics and choose an evening that SHOULD be beyond the snow and cold season. No guarantees. :-)

Thanks, parents, for all you do to support your child’s learning at Wilder Elementary. We appreciate the time and attention you give your students to help them be successful.

From Parents Lead for March - Monitor

Parenting isn’t always easy, especially in today’s world. The good news is there are steps you

can take to help protect your kids as they grow older. Effectively monitoring your kids through

every stage in their lives is one important way to reduce their risk of becoming involved in

potentially harmful situations or engaging in risky behaviors. Start monitoring your kids early

on, in ways that are age appropriate. In fact, the earlier you begin monitoring, the easier it will

be to continue as your kids gets older and the more they’ll expect it from you.
