April 2019 Newsletter
Principal's Message
Spring has sprung at last! April may bring showers, but it also brings milder temperatures which mean our students can play on the playground once again! Little league and other youth sports are back in full swing, and everyone seems to have a little "spring" in their step.
Of course in New York, spring also means New York State 3-8 ELA and Math tests. Our students took their ELA tests last week, and despite state-wide computer based testing malfunctions, all of our test takers were able to successfully complete and submit their tests. Students and staff did an outstanding job, and I am very proud! Math testing for students in grades 3-8 will take place on Wednesday May 1, 2019 and Thursday May 2, 2019, with makeups on Friday May 3, 2019. If you have any questions, please feel free to call my office.
There are many fun events coming up as well, please see below for upcoming events. Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jones
