Short Term Effects
The short term effects of alcohol are; Alcohol poisoning, Slurred Speech, Nausea, Diarrhea, Upset stomach, Headaches, Breathing difficulties, Distorted Vision and hearing, Impaired judgment, Decreased perception and coordination.
Long Term Effects
The long term effects of alcohol are wide; to keep it short, I will only bring up few: the following are; damage to the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system, Cancer, Liver Disease, and chronic pancreatitis.
Treatment/Prevention
Alcoholism is a substance abuse, many people have it, but the main prevention of alcoholism is to stay abstinence, there is no treatment for alcoholism; sadly, but there is rehab, but if people take a drink they can get addicted in a second.
