A Message from the Principal

I hope that everyone had a great three day weekend. This week second through fifth grade students will take the MAP assessment, the MAP assessment is the district benchmark. The results are used by teachers to determine what students have mastered and what they are ready to learn. It is also Yellow Ribbon Week, which focuses on being a good friend. I want everyone to have wonderful week and remember to focus on being PAWSitive.

Back to School Night

This Friday is our Virtual Back to School Night from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

Update Your Parent Information

It's that time of your to update your parent information. You can click on your parent portal and follow the directions. If you don't have a parent portal account, you can easily create one through the MVUSD Parent Link.

Also, if you haven't done so already, you can fill out this Meal Form to qualify for free or reduced lunches to be picked up during daily Grab-N-Go from 11A-1P Monday through Friday (except for holidays).

Shining Brighter Weekly Recognitions

Star Program Launch

The Moreno Valley Education Foundation has partnered with MVUSD to recognize students who are "Shining Brighter" during Distance Learning. Students who meet the below criteria will be randomly selected to win a $25 gift card!

Student Criteria:

  • Students who demonstrate improvement with attendance and participation
  • Students who demonstrate improvement in engagement and assignments

Selection of Students:

Each week a different grade level will select a student who meets the criteria and the selected student will receive the gift card.

Distribution of Student Practice Workbooks

Your students will be receiving Grade Level workbooks for English Language Arts and Math to help facilitate learning from home. Wonders and Go Math materials will be available for pick up according to the attached schedule.

Students showed up by the dozens during Grab-N-Go lunch to receive their free otter pop for showing their school spirit by wearing their school shirts. Great job everyone!
