Principal's Message
GRATITUDE CARD CAMPAIGN
This month we are sharing the message about Gratitude and how to show it. One way to show gratitude to those that make a difference in your life is to take time to write a note of thanks. We would like to give each staff member a sack of thank you cards to take to read over Thanksgiving break as a reminder of how much they mean to us.
Please take the time to write a couple of notes of gratitude and send them to school with your child. On the outside of the card, write the staff member's name and we will make sure it gets put in the appropriate staff member's sack. We will have a box (yellow and sitting on the bottom of the cart) for cards outside of the front door. We would love for all of our staff members to receive thanks for their hard work including our custodians, teachers, support staff, etc.
You may also send me an email and I can print it and place it in the teacher's sack. Please put the staff member's name in the heading of the email, so I will know that your email is a letter of thanks.
I appreciate you taking some time with your children to help make our staff members feel the appreciation and care we have for them. Please send the notes by Wednesday, November 18th.
There is no school November 23-27th. I hope you are able to enjoy time with your family during this fall break.
As always, please let us know if we fall short in communicating with you. We want this to be a partnership in order for your child to succeed!
Sincerely,
Ashley Gannon
Principal, Baker Elementary
COVID-19 Screener
If your child is learning in person, please make sure to go through the Screener questions each day. Here is the link to the Screener. If your child tests positive has been exposed to a COVID positive individual, or has one or more of the symptoms on the screening questionnaire, use the link at the bottom of the questionnaire to notify the school nurse and do NOT send your child to school until receiving clearance to return from the school nurse.
*If your child has a chronic condition that presents as one of the symptoms on the screening questionnaire, it is recommended that you contact the school nurse and your child's teacher about the chronic symptom so that both of these key school personnel are aware.
