Nurse Solomon for ALL students
You will be receiving a letter in the mail in the next week or two to inform you if your student needs updated immunization records turned in before they can start 7th grade in August. Please get records from your student’s physician and turn them in at your earliest convenience. It will really help with the back to school rush in August. The physician offices tend to get slammed and may not be able to accommodate you at that time.
Students will not be given their schedule, locker information or be able to start school until their immunizations are complete for 7th grade.
If you do not receive a letter, or have any questions, please contact Nurse Solomon at SolomonB@friscoisd.org

Family Wellness Festival
The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is hosting the first-ever, Frisco ISD Family Wellness Festival. The event will be on Saturday, April 13 from 10am-1pm at Independence HS. This is a free event for students, parents, and employees. The goal is to promote the Whole Child through a family event that raises awareness to vendors in the community that can support all parts of the whole child. Students and families will have the opportunity to run/walk laps for their elementary PE programs, participate in live fitness demos, and complete a Passport to Wellness to be entered in door prizes.
American Heart Association Event - Health and Wellness
The faculty and student volleyball game was a success. The campaign for student health and wellness along with raising funds for the American Heart Association was fantastic. Hunt Middle School Students and community brought in just under 7,000.00 to donate to the AHA. Such a great way to give back. Thanks to Coach Schwefel and her student team of support for making this happen.
Reflections PTA Winners
Congratulations to 3 Hunt Huskies whose entries received the Award of
Excellence, and advanced to Regional Council in December. PTA

entries were judged with hundreds of other entries within Frisco ISD.
