SMCS Mission
Preparing and inspiring students to lead meaningful lives, rooted in the teachings of Christ and our Catholic tradition.
Greetings from the Principal
Dear SMCS families,
This last month has really gone fast. We are back into the routine of school and that includes our day to day expectations for behaviors and personal responsibility. Thank you for being a strong, supportive parent community. Together we are providing your children with a faith-filled education that will serve as a foundation for a lifetime.
DONATIONS
We recently received two donations - closets for our uniforms as well as a sign with our Zephyr Way for the playground. Thank you to Miron Construction for our closets, and for our playground sign! Donations such as these make a HUGE difference in the quality of the day to day experience for our students and staff! I would also like to give a shout out to the students who volunteered here last week from SMCHS. We had a great time with them here and the kids loved seeing them on the playground.
HOMECOMING
Thank you to everyone who came to the Zephyr Homecoming Parade last Friday. We had so much fun seeing you outside of the school building! A few of our students came to walk in the parade, carry our Zephyr train, throw candy and just simply have a good time!
GRATITUDE
In the spirit of showing gratitude, faculty and staff will be treated to a wonderful dinner and brunch during their conference days on October 19th and 20th. Thank you to our generous parents for volunteering to make our teachers feel so special! I am also giving kindergarten another shout out for consistently saying thank you to the staff in the building. It is so important for children to see how a simple "thank you" can change a person's entire day for the better!
