Homeostasis
and the digestive system
Homeostasis meaning
Homeostasis is the property of a system that regulates variables so internal conditions remain stable.
More about homeostasis...
SO we already know that any self-regulating process by which biological systems tend to maintain stability while adjusting to conditions that are optimal for survival. When homeostasis is needed and then is a success, you life can continue. But when it doesn't do enough changes that are needed, disaster or even death occurs. The most common example of homeostasis in action is a room-temperature regulator, or thermostat.
The digestive system
The digestive system is a group of organs working together to convert food into energy and basic nutrients to feed the entire body. the order of the digestive system is GI tract are the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine. The digestive system has solid organs which are organs that have tissue "a firm tissue consistency and is neither hollow" says the medical dictionary. These solid organs are the liver, pancreas, spleen and adrenal glands.
Muscualar system
People usually think that our muscles have to do with strength and how much we can lift something but there's more to it. Our body has 650 muscles that are classified in three different categories; skeletal, cardiac, and smooth. Though muscles help us control walking, talking, sitting, eating, standing and other things, but they more importantly they help maintain posture and circulate blood and other substances
Skeletal system
The skeletal system are all the bones and tissues that hold them in the body. But did you know that the teeth are a part of the skeletal system but they're not considered bones because they're made of dentin and enamel. Enamel is the strongest substance in the body. The skeleton provides protection and support. Protection because our skull protects our brain and our eyes. It supports or body because without it, we will be a motionless blob of muscles, organs, organelles, etc. The bones in our body are made of blood vessels, compact and spongy bone, and bone marrow.
Circulatory system
The circulatory system is a transportation way of getting water, nutrients, oxygen and lots and lots of cells. The circulatory doesn't just carry this; it carries also garbage that the body cells produce.
Eating too much effects us
Eating is good for us especially fruits and vegetables but that doesn't man we can't eat fast food once or twice but definitely not all the time. See, fruits and vegetables are good for you because they have nutrients, vitamins, and more these helpful things help us get energised and get the information so we can function right. On the other hand, fast foods are greasy and have too much fat which leads to poor nutrition, poor health, and weight gain. Once you're over weight, many bad things happen to the body like; heart diseases, diabetes, and having chances of getting strokes. When you eat too much fast foods and unhealthy things, some effects of this include wheezing, having a condition in which sleep is interrupted because of asthma, drippy nose, having a 51% chance of getting depression, and having problems with society. There are more things that can happen ,though. So to break this down, eating fruits and vegetables is healthy, fast and fatty foods are bad for you but that doesn't mean you can't have just a bite once or twice.
