EL Night at SHS

Our annual EL Night is going to be held face to face in the high school cafeteria at 7 PM on Thursday, October 15. A video will be created and available for parents who wish to attend virtually. Parents of students who receive language support will be able to learn more about the support their students receive, and will meet some of the faculty and staff who work directly with their students.

Specific topics include the ILP, the new level 3 and level 4 classes, WIDA testing, scholarship and financial aid information, attendance matters, and powerschool. This year, time will be taken to discuss virtual meetings and e-learning. Translation to Japanese and Spanish will be available at the meeting by Mr. von Werder and Mr. Todd.
