It's Apple Dumpling Time!
And the more volunteers we have...the faster we will get done. But more importantly, our apple dumpling project is a GREAT way for you to get involved in a meaningful way to help the women, men, and children served by Life and Family Services. Every dumpling we make and sell represents a positive outcome for those families who are struggling. So, please consider taking an hour (or 5) out of your weekend to join our "Apple Dumpling Gang" to make someone's life better.
FUN FACT: It takes approximately 60 people/hour to make 8,000 dumplings.
Assembly is THIS SUNDAY, September 16th from noon until done (6:00pm) at Crosspointe Church in Kendallville (just off Drake Road).
Contact Deanna Rodenbeck at 260-347-5720 or (cell) 260-349-8158 to join the work, fun and fellowship!

Client Testimonial
(Names have been changed to respect the privacy of our clients)
Luci and John were recently married. While John was at work Luci and her mom visited our office. They came in to find out what we had to offer a newly married and newly pregnant woman. We welcomed them and shared that we are here to walk women, men and their families through the pregnancy and parenting journey. We are a community resource that will help them with information and education in pregnancy, delivery and parenting their child. Our staff is friendly and excited to begin this journey with them. Luci and John have built a lasting friendship with our staff. They consider us family now. They even invited us to their baby shower, which some of us attended. We are all excitedly waiting for the arrival of their little girl. Through all the visits to our office, they have been learning and preparing for their new bundle and we have had the opportunity to help with the supplies they need to create a safe and healthy environment for their daughter.
Our services are available to anyone that finds themselves in a pregnancy situation that causes uncertainties. Our services are at no cost and have no income requirements. Everyone is welcome at Life and Family Services.
