Parent Teacher Conferences are around the corner! You will be receiving an email with a link to sign up for your conference time later today. Please sign up as quickly as possible so you can get your desired time. Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 28th (2pm-8pm) and Thursday, October 29th (12pm-8pm).

This week we finished our unit on key ideas and details in literary text. You can find your child's progress in Teacher Ease.

*I know and apply grade level phonics skills and word analysis skills in decoding words.

*I can use learned spelling patterns in daily writing.

Our spelling this week focused on buddy vowels.


*I can demonstrate the conventions of Standard English capitalization and punctuation.

* I can write a narrative.

We focused on revising the work we completed.


*I can demonstrate the use of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking.

We learned about Nouns (common and proper) and verbs.


*I can add and subtract within 1,000.

We introduced 2 digit addition without regrouping this week. We focused on adding adding groups of ten.


*I can be responsible and kind.

*I can follow directions the first time.
