Parent Newsletter
January 2021
Note from the Principal:
Dear Palm Bay Families,
Happy New Year! Hoping 2021 brings health and happiness to you all.
Before the holiday break our students completed their second -i-Ready diagnostic. A vast number of our students made very significant gains in both Reading and Math based on this assessment. As I have mentioned before, students can get on this program at home and work in their "My Path" icon on their dashboard. "My Path" is individually tailored to your child's instructional needs.
Our Annual Meeting for our Parent Involvement Team is scheduled for January 28, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. At this time, we are continuing to take nominations for the officers of our Parent Involvement Team. The positions open for nomination are:
· President
· Vice-President
· Secretary
· Treasurer 1
· Treasurer 2
· Volunteer Coordinator
If you or someone you know is interested in taking a leadership position on this team, please send your nomination to: AngieB303@gmail.com. Nominations will be received through January 28th. I hope you will consider being a part of this important group.

Curriculum Corner
January is a great month to kick start good study habits! We are continuing to challenge our students with rigorous activities. Please encourage your child to put forth their best effort, stay focused and engaged in the classroom lessons and activities. The more you show your child the importance of learning, the more important it will be to them.
