Principal's Prose
Happy summer everyone, and welcome to The Sudie Summer News! My hope is that you all are well, and in the midst of enjoying the first few weeks of your vacation (Woo-Hoo!). After such a busy school year filled with studies, activities and important decisions to make regarding 2019-2020, claiming a little time-out and fun in the sun (or air conditioning) is well understood and is hopefully well received!
As new members of the Sudie Williams Talented and Gifted Academy family, please know that I am both honored and proud to serve as your new principal. Since our last meeting, my team and I have been incredibly busy planning, staffing, training, researching and resource gathering, as we are excitedly preparing for the upcoming school year. Through it all, our commitment to our Sudie families provide the endless energy pushing us toward the successful start to another great year at Sudie TAG!
We remain thankful to you for choosing Sudie TAG, for your continued support and for the mighty TEAM of students, staff, parents and community members we will create this fantastic school year. We look forward to learning from you, and growing with you as we aspire to nurture our relationships for the sake of our most precious asset, our super students!
Sincerely,
Mr. Jackson

Sudie Super Fun Crew! (Formerly Sudie Super Six)
Greetings once again! As we look ahead to the amazing year to come, we would like to afford all of our new students the opportunity to begin making connections with their future school mates as soon as possible! Whereas building community is a true value of Sudie TAG, we excitedly extend the opportunity for each new student to participate in our "Sudie Super Fun Crews" this summer! Each crew consists of (approximately six) new students intentionally grouped to promote new relationships leading into the new experience of a new school. Our hope is that students (and their families) would take the opportunity to meet, greet and plan tons of fun things to do together prior to the start of the school year. If you would like to participate, all you need to do is sign up on the link below and we handle the rest! We will share names and emails of crew members on Tuesday, June 25th through email. We also plan to host a meet and greet next Thursday June 27th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. here at Sudie.
See you soon!
