Notes from Coach Kim

JH athletic registration is open for boys' basketball and girls' softball! Please don't wait until the last minute to register your athletes!

Congrats to JH VB for moving to 4-0 on the season with their win over Mountain Ridge last week and to JH Cross Country for their strong showing at the Lewis Palmer JH Cross Country Meet! We only have 2 weeks left of JH fall sports! If you haven't been to an event, I highly suggest you check one out!

We are also still looking for a JH Slow-Pitch Softball coach! If you, or anyone you know is interested, please have them give me a call at (719) 488-6245.

Another great week to be a part of the JHXC Running Program at TCA!! Boy, did our athletes come ready to compete! WE have had several opportunities to run in the hot weather since the last XC Meet and it has paid off! I am glad we do not shy away from adversity. It prepares us for the tough races.

Results are in! 7th Grade Girls took the lead early and did not let up, taking 1st place ahead of EagleView.

8th Grade girls just stomped the competition with a lead of over 40 points ahead of EagleView and Lewis Palmer and taking 1st place again. Taking nothing for granted, these girls are never slacking during practice!!

7th Grade Boys brought their best game and set themselves up very well. Their kick at the end propelled them ahead of Lewis Palmer (who they finished behind at the last meet) and moved them into 2nd place today.

8th Grade Boys were not going to let their guard down and came off the line like they always do, fast and focused. They took 1st place again beating out DCC.

JH Football

JH football had a bye week last week but put in some great work at practice! This week, they have their first home football game! Come over to TCA East to support!

JH Volleyball

Both JH volleyball teams moved to 4-0 with their wins over Mountain Ridge MS last week. Both teams have strong serving and can put the ball away! If you haven't made it to a game, I highly suggest you do!
