Weekly Wellness Newsletter
(Week of May 4-8, 2020)
Happy May!
These are certainly on-going unprecedented times. We want to be social, and yet the best, safest thing we can do is to stay home and keep our distance from friends, family, and fellow humans—at least 6 feet to be exact! For some of us, social distancing is right up our alleys.
But for others, this time of isolation is especially tough. You're longing for a connection with others. Whether you're thriving or wilting, we are all in this together and we need to try to come out of this stronger/different. Here's to another week of staying active and thriving during this time.
Message from our Principal!
Hello Mustangs!
I know that with the extension of the stay-at-home orders that have been issued there is an increased level of anxiety and discomfort. It is important to look beyond this moment though and remain positive. May is here and we are embarking on the final month of the school year--summer break is just around the corner. Please try and remind yourself each day of what is possible rather than dwell on what is not. Continue to reach out to friends and family virtually--a text, a phone call, and Face time go a long way. While I know that the end of this school year is not what you expected, let's appreciate the fact that we are here and that this will eventually end. Remember that every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.
Take care and stay safe!
Sincerely,
Ms. Cahoon
