ICCS Mission Statement:
MAY CROWNING AND CONSECRATION OF MARY TO TAKE PLACE TOMORROW
At ICCS, we honor our Blessed Mother Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth throughout the month of May. Normally, the ICCS Rosary Club hosts a special May Crowning presentation in the Gym with all students and faculty in attendance. This ICCS tradition will continue this year, but will be modified to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, May 1st through Sunday, May 31, we invite our students, families, faculty members and alumni to bring flowers from your yard or garden and to pray by the Mary statue in front of our school, located near the front entrance on Ryan Street. Please remember to social distance if a family is already in prayer when you arrive.
Father Rommel, Coach Alex Kjellsten, Mrs. Jarreau and Mrs. Viau will officially crown the Mary statue tomorrow morning around 8:00 a.m. Music Teacher, Mrs. Virginia-Kate Jessen will provide music. The presentation will be videoed and shared live on the ICCS Facebook page.
In addition to crowning Mary tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m., Father Rommel will also renew the Consecration of the United States to Mary, Mother of the Church. Please join the live broadcast of the presentation on the Immaculate Conception Cathedral School Facebook page (immediately following the May crowning at 8:00 a.m.). Father Rommel has provided the attached program for everyone to follow along.
PANTHER PROCESSION TO BE HELD NEXT FRIDAY
Join us as we show support for our high school and college alumni graduates at the 5th Annual ICCS Panther Procession next Friday, May 8, between 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the ICCS Park Avenue parking lot. This annual event has been changed to a social distancing style parade for health safety purposes.
Current and past students, families, faculty members and community supporters are invited to drive through the Park Avenue parking lot and congratulate over 50 former ICCS students who are graduating from high school and college in 2020. Please enter the parking lot on Park Avenue (just like normal student drop off and pick up) and exit on Ryan Street. The parade will be quick, but we hope to spread joy and encouragement to our ICCS alumni graduates.
BOX TOPS EARNINGS UPDATE
ICCS recently received a check for $155.70 for Box Tops earnings from November 2019 to February 2020. Please help earn money for our school by purchasing food and household products with the official Box Tops label. Use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. The app will find participating products purchased at any store nation-wide and instantly add cash to our school's earnings online. Box Tops are worth 10¢ each.
CLIP COFFEE LABELS AND COLLECT COKE REWARDS
ICCS parents, Grandpanthers and faculty members are also asked to clip Community Coffee Cash for Schools labels and collect COKE rewards. These national programs are beneficial to our school. For more information, please contact the ICCS Community Partners Program Coordinator, Rebecca Roach at firstname.lastname@example.org.
VIRTUAL VARIETY SHOW COMING SOON
Dear Parents and Students of ICCS,
Our annual Variety Show is always a fun way to celebrate our students. During these challenging circumstances, a Variety Show is just what we need to lift all of our spirits. This year, we are going to do something that has never been done before, a Virtual Variety Show!
Videos sent to us via email will be compiled into our virtual variety show that will be shared with our school community through Google Classrooms. The videos will not be posted on social media.
Videos should be school appropriate and should not exceed two minutes. In the absence of auditions, we reserve the right to hold back any videos that we do not deem school appropriate.
If you are a poet, singer, dancer, magician, comedian, artist, we want you to entertain us. Even tricks with your pets are allowed! Family participation is encouraged, but not necessary. The sky's the limit!
Videos must be submitted by May 5th, so start planning today. Submit all entries to email@example.com.
Our hope is the virtual Variety Show will connect our Panther community, allow us to see each other even if only through videos, and help everyone smile a whole lot. Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing all of your amazing videos and talent. Let’s do this Panthers!
Thank you and we look forward to a great show,
Mrs. Jessen and Mrs. Barrios

The Regina Coeli (Queen of Heaven )
- Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia.
R. For He whom you did merit to bear, alleluia.
V. Has risen, as he said, alleluia.
R. Pray for us to God, alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
R. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray.
O God, who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord.

ACCESS PAST PANTHER PRESS ISSUES
PRAYER AGAINST THE CORONAVIRUS
O Mary, you shine continuously along our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the Cross were near to the pain of Jesus, keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of the Roman people, know what we need, and we trust that you will provide for those needs so that, as at Cana of Galilee, joy and celebration may return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the will of the Father and to do what Jesus tells us, He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and took up our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.
We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
