Proctor Elementary
Distance Learning Announcements and Updates, 1/22/21
A Message from Principal Ghereben
Thank you for another week of Distance Learning. As we end the month of January we continue to prepare for the days ahead. Given that our reopening may happen within the next few weeks, if conditions improve, we have sent out the AM/PM schedules to all District families this week. If you have not received your cohort assignment, please notify the office.
Please remember that we will not be making changes to cohort assignments. Please know that we have worked very hard to make these assignments work in the best interest of our students. Our main focus was to keep siblings together in the same hybrid cohort. Lots of thought, time, research, discussion, energy and effort went into these assignments.
As we continue our planning for returning to school, please note that we must be in the Red Tier for 2 weeks. We will send more detailed information once we reach that goal. Also due to the Governor's requirement, we will be phasing in primary students first.
Thank you for your understanding as we continue to organize for a smooth return to in-school instruction. Currently, our School Site Specific Reopening Plan has been uploaded to the Proctor school website here.
Please see the Week 4 Hybrid Prep lesson below. We will continue to send family training videos throughout the weeks to continue to prepare for our return to in-person instruction.
Thank you for your continued partnership!
Sincerely,
Heather Ghereben
Proctor Principal

All videos and resources will be posted on our school website each week for your reference, and your classroom teacher will also post it in their Google Classrooms.
I am requesting that every family review the information and help their child complete the weekly activity. This will ensure that our reopening is done safely, smoothly and consistently. Thank you in advance for your support.
