Fall is officially here and Summer has past. Gone are the long days of sunshine, swimming in the pool, and weekend lake trips. Can you tell Summer is my favorite season? It wasn't until I came across this comic that I was reminded "Good Things" come from Fall. The air turns cooler, football season starts, and the kiddos are settling into the school routine. Like Calvin and Hobbes, the difference was really my outlook, not the season. Enjoy your Fall Break and all the "Good Things" Fall has to offer!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Be on the lookout for a letter/email from your child's teacher. It will contain a code for you to register for a conference. Conferences will be held over Zoom during the week of October 18th.

All conferences will be over Zoom unless you email your teacher to notify them that you would like to attend in person. Parents will use PTC Fast to sign up for both Zoom Conferences and In-Person Conferences. Please register for a conference once you receive the conference code from your teacher. A help guide can be found below.

Great Days of Service

Gwinnett's Great Days of Service is coming! Did you know that in Gwinnett County, 1 in 10 people are food insecure? To help our local families in need, we will be having a Canned Food Drive from October 12th - October 15th! Please bring in non-perishable food items and personal care items. In the past few years, our school has donated these items to the Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries which supports families in the Norcross area. Student Council will also be collecting items during Family Movie Night on Friday, October 15th. Come by the front doors to drop off your donations! Want to spend time with your family giving back to our community? There are lots of different volunteer opportunities that you and your family can participate in together! Check out...

Afternoon Transportation

All transportation changes must be made in writing. Whenever you need to make a change to your child's afternoon transportation plan, please complete an Afternoon Transportation Change Form in the front office no later than 12:00 PM the day of the change. We will utilize this form to create the appropriate afternoon transportation pass. Please remember the GCPS Bus Rule: no passes will be issued for play dates, birthdays, weekend sleepovers, etc. For security reasons, we DO NOT accept transportation changes through phone calls or emails.

Student Check Out

Anyone checking out a child must present photo identification and be listed in our system as someone able to have access to the student. If you need to make changes to your list of approved emergency contacts, you may make changes on the Parent Portal or stop by the office to update this information. As a reminder, students may NOT be checked out after 3:00 PM. For assistance in updating contact information on the Parent Portal, please visit
