Themed Learning Week
This week, our teachers have planned some special learning units. Some classes will be learning about Oceans, Poetry, Earth Day, Friendship and other unique learning themes. We hope our students enjoy these specials lessons their teachers prepared for them.
End of the Year Wrap Up
We are planning alternate 5th grade promotion activities and will be in contact with 5th grade families to share the details.
We know this isn't the way anyone wants to end the year and closure will feel differently. But one thing that is apparent to me week after week of our Virtual School is the way our families, students, teachers, and staff have pulled together and worked as a team to make it the best it can be for our students. I am so appreciative of everyone's grace and efforts during this time.

Taking Care of Your Family's Emotional Well Being
This week, we are highlighting some resources from Mind Up. They have put together some resources for our students, while they are at home.
One Book Connects
Oasis Elementary is about to embark on a special project called #OneBookConnects. Students will have the opportunity to read the same book together, a book called, A Boy Called Bat, by Elana K. Arnold. – even though we’re all at home. Reading this book together will enable your family to share the joy of reading and reconnect with our school community. This is an optional activity for students. This book is available for free on EPIC.
Fourth Quarter Interims
If parents have NOT already set up an established FOCUS account to view their student information, they will have to get their parent account verified. The verification process may take up to a few weeks. In order to set up a parent account, parents will need the Student ID number, (NOT the Social Security Number). If you do not know your child's Student ID, please reach out to your child's teacher. Teachers will only be sending student ID's to the email account that they have been using with the parent all year.
See the attachment below for details on the Parent FOCUS account verification process.
