Student Survey

The Otsego Community Foundation is conducting a youth needs survey. This survey is designed to help the community foundation better understand how they can support the needs of youth in our community. This survey is optional and anonymous and will be offered to students in their English class. If you would like to review the survey, please contact Mr. Hodges at hodgesc@gaylord.k12.mi.us.

NWEA

Our students will be taking the NWEA winter assessment between January 16th and February 3rd. ELA and Math teachers will communicate their testing schedule to their students.

Drama Club Duck Race

Who wants to win $500?

Each year, drama club sells raffle tickets for the annual Gaylord Downhill Quack. This is a fundraiser which culminates in a rubber duck race down a ski hill at Treetops Resort.

Students and their families sell raffle tickets, of which each has a number on it. Each ticket number corresponds to a number written on a rubber duck. On Saturday, February 4, each numbered duck will be sent down the ski hill toward a finish line at the bottom. Whoever buys the duck that crosses the finish line first wins $500! The second place duck owner wins $250, and the third place duck owner wins $100! All remaining tickets also go into a large bin and are used for door prize drawings.

See a drama club member today to purchase your ducks or inquire at the high school main office. Questions can be addressed to drama club director Laura Hotelling.
