Geography of China:

China is Located in Southeast Asia along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. China is one of the largest countries in the world, third behind Russia and Canada. With an area of 9.6 million kilometers and a coastline of 18,000 kilometers, people say that China's map is the shape of a rooster. 14 countries border China, which includes Russia, Vietnam, North Korea, etc. China is divided into four regions-North, South, Northwest and Qinghai-Tibetan areas. Vast lands of China include plateaus, plains, basins, foothills and mountains that dominate some of the land areas of China. China is home to over 50,000 rivers like the Yangzte River, the longest river in Asia and the third-longest in the world and the Yellow River aka "Mother River of the Chinese People." China's mountains take about two-thirds of the country and ranges mainly run from east-to-west from northeast-to-southwest. Most of these mountains reach to the sky.

Culture of China:

China's government-type is Communism, and ruled under President Xi Jinping.

China also has a wide variety of religions including Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, which all three of these are known as "The Three Teachings Harmonious as One" or simply "Three Teachings".

China has the second world-largest economy after the United States and is the world's fastest growing economy. China is also the largest exporter of goods and the second largest importer of goods as well as the fastest growing consumer market in the world.

Social organizations in China is extremely important in the political lifestyle and there are at least 2,000 social organizations nationwide.

Culture of China is the Spring Festival, which they celebrate honoring ancestors and the lunar year. Chinese food includes Fan (or Rice), stir fried dishes and like to drink tea.

The official language of China is Mandarin, Cantonese and several other dialects like Hakka and Gan.

The Chinese were well known for their calligraphy, were avid writers and philosophers, mainly during the Ming and Qing Dynasty, were good kung fu martial artists, and musical instruments included were xun and the guquin.
