Bellville Elementary Newsletter
January and February 2023

AT BELLVILLE ELEMENTARY WE ARE PROBLEM SOLVERS, RESPECTFUL, KIND TO ALL AND READY TO LEARN. GO COLTS!
As the weather turns colder, please make sure your child is dressed for outside recess with winter coat, hats, gloves and boots. If there is any way possible, we do go outside for recess, because we all need fresh air and to run off some of our energy! If your family is struggling to provide this for your child, please do not hesitate to give me a call. I will do everything I can to help, and keep your situation confidential.
As of January 31, 2023 we have used 4 calamity days. We are allotted one more calamity day for the school year, and then any other missed days will be made up through remote learning days. Every student has a chromebook, and teachers have been working with students to prepare them for remote learning in the event this occurs. IF we have a remote learning day, students will be participating in online learning with their teachers from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students will be using Google Meet this year rather than Zoom. Your child's teacher will be sending home detailed information in the event we do have a remote learning day. If your child does not participate in remote learning, he/she will be marked as absent.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at (419) 886-3244 or email me at swanks@cfcolts.org. Thank you so much for giving us the privilege to teach and work with your precious children!
Sincerely,
Stacey S. Swank
