Pinkston PREP
Week of November 26
Message from Mr. Perla
PPCA Family,
This holiday is an opportunity for us to reflect on the many things for which we are thankful. I want to take the time to share just a few of mine with you. I am thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn. During difficult times, they serve as a daily reminder of why I chose to serve our Pinkston Community. I am thankful for the support of our parents in creating a partnership vested in our student's educational interests. I am thankful for my teachers who really care about educational equity and student achievement. I am thankful for Ms. Rios and Ms. Lira who are instrumental in our success. I am thankful for my team who shares the same values and have the best interests of our students at heart. I am thankful for our ECHS consultant, Tracey, who reminds me of my values and pushes me to be the best version of myself. I am thankful for my teacher's tireless dedication to go above and beyond to ensure that great things happen at Pinkston H-TECH and our West Dallas community. I am thankful for all who are playing a critical role in changing the trajectory of our student's lives. I am thankful for our parents who continue to have faith in us and continue to share their most valuable possession with us – our students. Lastly, I am thankful for a holiday break that allows me to rest, recover and rejuvenate. I hope you all have a safe holiday break.
Together We Succeed!
