Principal Message
Hello INL Families,
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement as we work with you and your child to continue their education. This has truly been a learning experience for us all and we hope that we have continued to meet your expectation of going above and beyond for your children.
Thank you parents for sending your videos and messages of teachers who are doing all that they can to engage your children. We have teachers that read books at night to students, have birthday celebrations over zoom, walk students and parents through the various steps to ensure students find what they need to succeed, visit students homes to show that they are greatly missed, incorporate games and fun activities in lessons, have a special focus for the day, encourage students to participate in our spirit days, and much much more.
I wish you all a safe and restful summer. See you in the Fall!
Ms. Bailey
Distance Learning
During this time of distance learning, teachers made their lessons more engaging to encourage students to log into Zoom sessions. They created games, dressed up, made students create a rap, played music, sang songs, and much more. It is truly wonderful to see how much our teachers will go above and beyond to ensure all of our students are getting what they need to be successful.
Spirit Days
Wear your favorite costume.
Go outside and show something green.
Go outside and look for signs of Spring.
Teacher Appreciation
During the week of Teacher/Staff Appreciation, many families shared wonderful messages about how our staff members have made their children feel special and cared for. Thank you families for making this a special moment. All staff members received your kind words in a package that they will be able to keep for years to come.

Free and Reduced Lunch
From the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
On May 28, 2020, the U.S. Department of Agriculture approved Florida’s request to implement the Pandemic EBT program across the state. Pandemic EBT, or P-EBT, will provide nutrition benefits to the families of more than 2 million children eligible for free or reduced-price school lunches, and is administered by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), in partnership with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).
Families who are eligible for the free and reduced-price school meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) are eligible to receive P-EBT. P-EBT benefits will be issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families automatically during the month of June. Children that were receiving free and reduced-price school meals prior to the school closures on March 16, 2020, will receive a one-time benefit of $5.70 per day (55 days) and per child. If the child was eligible for the free and reduced-price school meals program after March 16, 2020, they will receive a pro-rated amount based on the month of eligibility.
For existing SNAP customers with a child receiving free and reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program, the P-EBT benefit will be added to their current EBT card automatically. For Medicaid and/or TANF recipients with a child receiving free and reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program, the P-EBT benefit will be automatically mailed to the address on your Medicaid and/or TANF file. No further action is required on for a child to receive the P-EBT benefits.
For all children that attend a school under the Community Eligibility Provision or Provision 2 for Lunch, the P-EBT benefit will be automatically mailed to the address on file with the school/district.
Please allow the Florida Department of Children and Families to fully issue all P-EBT benefits by June 30, 2020, before inquiring about PEBT benefit status.
At this time, no action is needed by the school and/or districts unless you receive a request for data.
