The Gratz Weekly Scoop
April 17, 2017
Thought for the Week:
As I watched this video, I felt compelled to share it with each of you.
Our students are so blessed to have teachers like each of you that care so much for them. This never goes unnoticed. I saw it and heard it speaking loudly as we have tested our darlings this week, and pushed them to have stamina for what was put before them with the test. Kuddos to each of you for being patient and a cheerleader all in one for your kids.
Enjoy the weekend and re-charge!

- Specialists enter class names of those that won awards for Student Advisory Committee to announce each month
- Lessons for the week prepared and out daily on everyone's desk for us to see when we walk through.
- Small group lessons prepared also and visible/Anecdotal Notes for Small Groups kept up to date.

End of the Year Talent Show
We have the talent show fast approaching for our last day of school. Specials team will be judging our acts that will be performing that day, as they did last year.
What we need, is ideas for staff. Last year we did our Flash Mob dance. It was a huge hit with the kids. Fifth graders from Sarah's class loved the opportunity to lead as well. At this time, does anyone have any thoughts or ideas? We need a few energetic team members to take on this event and get the rest of us ready to roll.
If you have any ideas and are willing to assist please email Dave and I. We will schedule a time to get together to plan when we return from our long weekend.
Reminder from Mrs. David
