Andrew Jackson
HERO OR ZERO?
Here's why...
First off Jackson spoils his official's with the "spoils system". Some of the people were just old friends. Also they were usually never trained. They agreed with every decision that Jackson made. Also the trail of tear (which i will tell you more about as this flyer goes on) was Jackson greediness for the Cherokee land.
Jackson's tariffs
A tariff a tax on imported goods which affected the south terribly and helped the north gratefully.
The south was built on a agricultural way of life and the north was built on manufactured way of life. meaning the south would grow poorer and the north would grow richer.
Jackson's dislikes about the national banks
Jackson disliked the national because of their treatment to the common man he felt they were only good enough
for the rich so he decided to take them down.
The force bill
Was Jackson's resolution to the tariffs on the south by forcing it upon them. One southern state that didn't like the tariffs was North Carolina.
about the trail of tears...
Was Jackson's selfishness for the Cherokee nation's people. He wanted there land, gold, and etc. It was a tragic time for the Cherokee nation. Jackson ordered that the Cherokee natives are to be removed from their homeland and sent to another. The Cherokee natives had to walk thousand of miles to special designated "Indian territory"
this was a dangerous and sometimes deadly journey known as the TRAIL OF TEARS
