What's Happening this Week?
We are taking this week to review for the next STAAR tests - we will focus on ALL math and reading strategies, concepts, etc! Our students are ready for these tests, but we want to have multiple opportunities to review what we have learned all year long in order to prepare them to be successful on the tests!
- Tuesday, April 21 - Math STAAR test
- Wednesday, April 22 - Reading STAAR test
- No visitors will be allowed on campus on testing days...including eating lunch with your student.
REMEMBER...
- Have your child go to bed early to ensure they get plenty of sleep.
- Make sure they eat a healthy breakfast.
It's that time of year!
Seasonal allergy complaints are the number one issue in the clinic over the past 2 weeks – symptoms ranging from itchy red watery eyes, to sore throats, runny noses and coughing.
If your child is suffering, see the letter below from Nurse Julie on how to help with the symptoms!
Rocket Fueling Station!
The library is open each morning for any student who is needing a little extra help with any subject or homework help. No food is allowed, so please be sure to have already eaten breakfast!

Stockyards Field Trip!
We are very excited to be going to the Fort Worth Stockyards on Thursday, May 28! This trip will reinforce our year-long study of Texas and Fort Worth history. The only way we can go on the trip is through donations, so we are asking for $13 per student. You can send exact cash or a check made out to NRES.
