Dear Families,
Here is the schedule for students coming to the school to pick up belongings. This will be the final pick-up prior to the Fall, so please make every effort to come to the school during the designated times below. This includes medication from the Health Office.
If you have children with different last names, pick one of the blocks that will work best for you. Please remember not to bring any of the borrowed CHROMEBOOKS or IPADS back on these dates, we have a different return date and plan for these.
We will need you to bring the following with you on this day:
Library Books: There will be a collection area for this inside the school.
Grades K, 1 and 2: Remote learning student work that we asked you to set aside in a folder or portfolio.
Classroom Textbooks: 3rd-grade students must return their Social Studies textbook.
Classroom Books Borrowed: Many teachers have a classroom library- please return these books in a labeled bag.
Classroom Items Borrowed- like scissors, math manipulatives, etc (excludes IPADS & Chromebooks).
Important: Return all your items in a bag, a grocery bag will work. Make sure to put your child's name and teacher’s name. We will have you leave items in your child's grade level project area. CES staff will be on hand for assistance.

Here are the guidelines that everyone will be expected to follow:
- Social Distancing is required. Everyone must maintain 6 feet distance at all times.
- Everyone must wear a mask, this includes students.
- One adult with each student, to minimize the number of people in the building at once.
- You will enter the front doors and exit the rear grade-level wing doors.
- Students and their parent/guardian will be directed to one of the two front door entrances upon arrival.
- If the date does not work for you, please email me at maestasr@carver.org.
We will be so happy to see the students, and while it will be tough, we will make sure to abide by the distance requirements.
With Great Appreciation for ALL you are Doing,
Ruby Maestas

Dear Parents and Guardians,
On Thursday, June 18 we will be having an all-school drive-by parade. We are asking all of you to come to the CES campus at the designated times below with your child. If you have more than one child, you are welcome to join the parade both times, or you can select one of the times that work best for you. We are very excited about this event, and can’t wait to see the students. We recognize that some of our parents/guardians are working and that this schedule may not be convenient for everyone. We would really like to see you so if you are working, hopefully you can adjust your schedule so that you can take part at this end of school year event.
Times for Grade Levels:
Pk - K will begin at 9:00 am (parents asked to be at CES by 8:30 am)
1 - 2 will begin at 10:00 am (parents asked to be at CES by 9:30 am)
3 - 4 will begin at 11:00 am (parents asked to be at CES by 10:30 am)
5 - will begin at 12:00 pm (parents asked to be at CES by 11:30 am)
Carver Police will join us and the Fire Department will be the lead vehicle for each grade.
Here is what we need parents/guardians to do:
Arrive at the time designated above. Once you arrive, you will be directed by staff to the waiting line.
Remain in your vehicles at all times.
Place a large placard/sheet of paper with your family name, for example, The Grenier Family on the passenger side of your vehicle so we can announce your family.
For all 5th grade students, please place the student’s full name on the placard as well. This way we can announce and give special recognition to the 5th graders as they are going by.
We are working on having this video-recorded and live-streamed on Facebook. We will provide you with the live stream details in the coming days. Thank you for all your support and patience as we work through the challenges brought on by COVID-19.
