Thank you students and coaches for a great Fall Sports season!
MS Volleyball and MS Boys Soccer teams completed their regular season and advanced to the playoffs in their first year entering a new and more competitive league! Congratulations to the coaches and students. We also had MS Volleyball B team and MS XC competing working hard and having fun this season as well. Way to go Middle School sports.
As for High School, the HS girls Volleyball team had their last game of the season on Friday. This group has improved significantly over the course of the season. Keep it up ladies! The HS XC team has increased participation is a major way this season adding 8 new girls to the program and they have all continued to get better and better.
The boys team has 3 runners that have all made an impact this season. Senior Nabil Hassan will be running in the State race on Saturday in Colorado Springs.
The Boys soccer team has completely turned it around and are ranked #2 in the state! Great job!
They were in action on Friday, October 29th as Lotus hosted the 1st round of the playoffs.
LSE Extended Lobby Is Located Outside of the Secondary Office
Students are not permitted to be in the canopy without adult supervision during or after school. We ask all students to only enter this canopy when they are with a parent/guardian or a member of the office staff.

November Student Attendance Contest
Any student who has ZERO tardies from Nov 2- Nov 18 will receive a prize of some awesome Lotus swag. Please encourage your students to arrive on time to every class. Students will be notified if they achieve this prize via their student email on Friday, November 19th.
1st Progress Report Update
Prayer Time Guidelines
-Due to COVID protocols, students must have a prayer rug to be eligible to gain entry into one of the prayer space.
-Prayer time preparations may take place at the end of the 4th period recess for middle school students. Middle school students will be provided supervision to the prayer space in the last 10 minutes of their 5th period class. Students are encouraged to transition safely by keeping their hands and feet to themselves. Students will be given five minutes to pray and then will be asked to join their 6th period class on time.
-Prayer will take place in the heated canopy behind the Lotus Building. Adult supervision will be provided before, during, and after prayer times.

Do not send your student to school if any of the following are found during your student’s daily self assessment.
Symptom check
Cough
Sore throat
Shortness of breath
Chills
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
Loss of taste or smell
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
Nasal congestion if any of the above symptoms are included
You should have your child tested for COVID 19 and your student should not return to school until the test results are final as negative and your students symptoms have improved.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal
In order to access your students attendance and grade reports in Infinite Campus, you will need to obtain your login credentials to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Infinite Campus is the main portal you can use to track your student's attendance and grade reports. If you are having trouble accessing the parent portal; please use the "Request Access for Parent Portal" link on our website to submit a request, and you will receive your login information in the email. Lotus School for Excellence
LOTUS School for Excellence
Lotus first opened its doors in August 2006 with a total of 147 students in grades 6 and 7. Each year after that, its enrollment increased gradually to finally reach over 900 students, with grades spanning from Kindergarten to 12th. In such a diverse and disadvantaged community, for over a decade, Lotus has managed to instill interest in students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Today it is one of the most successful schools in Aurora.
