They both involved woman being raped. The ladies were both apparently raped by a group or just one black man. Both of the trials happened in an Alabama court room. They both involved many of the same topics and the outcome is also the same.
There really aren't many differences between these to trials. The Scots borough trial involves more people. Tom really doesn't have anyone to back him up but one person. So they are different by who is there to stand behind the blacks. They change in the way the trial plays out, they involve more then one person being rapped in the Scott borough case.
