For Parents of Juniors and Seniors

This message was sent to all our Juniors and Seniors on Monday, September 14 via Schoology.

Attention Juniors/Seniors:

Are you interested in joining the Mason Chapter of the National Honor Society?

The National Honor Society is an organization for Junior and Senior high school students who show excellence in four fields: Scholarship, Character, Leadership, and Service. To become a member, students must complete an application demonstrating their excellence in these areas, as well as have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and recommendations from two teachers. The application is currently open and accepting submissions. The final date to submit your completed application is September 28th.

If you are interested, please join the Schoology course with the code 8BBC-8SGP-WB3HS to access the application and information about NHS and the requirements for membership.

Senior Information Night

Parents of Seniors: If you missed last night's presentation, you may view it below. It includes information about the college application process, requirements that should be completed, Naviance, transcript deadlines, and more. Aside from our Counselors' and Ms. Mural's presentations, two guest presenters shared their expertise -- Jamie Didawick from James Madison University's Office of Admissions, and Jason Engler from the Pathway Program at Northern Virginia Community College.
