The Industrial Revolution
Hanna Michaelkovich
The industrial revolution took place a long time ago. It was when the world was not healthy at all. The air and water were polluted by the smoke from factories and the coal, so by this time many new laws were created laws so that there wouldn't be many poor people left on the side of the road starving to death with there family's. This was a very sad time for people all over the world.
child labor was also very bad during these times. Kids worked when they were only 8 years of age. Kids and parents worked all day, from when the goes up until the sun goes down. Little boys and girls go home all dirty with stains all over them and cuts on their arms and legs and also cuts on their shits\ dresses. All girls and boys that have long hair must have it pulled back so that their hair cannot get caught in the machines.
The assembly line helped people get their work done faster so each person only had one to two jobs to do. How they get this up is they line up in one long like and begin to make something. They try to make as much as they can in a certain amount of time. People had to work on this without talking, they had one supervisor to make sure they were doing their job and if they wernt doing it right they would move them to a new passion that they would be better at. These people were not fired because than they wouldn't have enough people to work.
