Describe something you did yesterday
Yesterday, I went shopping with my Nanny and then came home to work on cake decorating. I made several fondant roses, and bows, and then decorated a cake just to practice. After several hours of cake decorating, I binge watched 8 episodes of Friends on Netflix. (below is the cake I decorated)
Something you do well
I've been told by several people that I'm good at decorating cakes. I've been decorating since I was nine or ten, since my aunt is a baker, I've picked up a bunch of skills. I help my aunt with any orders she get's and I've actually gotten some of my own orders recently. I love to take mental images and create them on a cake. (Below is a cake I decorated over the summer)
Something about your childhood
As a child I was the youngest of three total children, with two older brothers. I remember being wrapped up in blankets and pillows and then being shot by a paintball gun because my brothers wanted to test it out. I was always picked on but as I got older I got used to it and now I pick on them. (Below is me, my older brothers and my Grandad)
Something you learned last week
Last week I learned how to make a new type of fondant rose. I had been using a dumb technique that someone taught me. I got the courage to look up other ways to make the roses, and when I found a simple one I tried it out. The results surprised me and my family because I didn't know I was capable of realistic roses. (Shown below is one of the roses I made)
Something you can't live without
As cliche as this sounds, I can't live without my phone. Although I am your average teenage girl, my phone is my source of communication, research, and things like the temperature and social networks. I honestly wouldn't know what to do without my phone, though I imagine the immense boredom that would come with that. When I'm not in school or with people, I'm on my phone, it's just an inevitable fact about me.
Something you like to watch/listen to
Honestly, I find too much enjoyment in watching Friends, it's literally a problem sometimes. Over the past two or three weeks I've binge watched five seasons on Netflix. Although I've gotten little done, quoted too much, and lost sleep, it's fine because I always get a good laugh.
Something you dislike
I can't stand when I'm having an argument and I know that I'm right, and I'm totally sure of whatever I'm arguing for, but the person arguing with me keeps trying to prove me wrong. If someone knows that they're wrong they should just give it up, it's not worth wasting breath. It get's me even more angry when arguing about something I'm passionate about.
