Third Grade Scoop

March 3rd- March 7th

Reading/ Language Arts

We will use this week for review. We will be reviewing synonyms, antonyms, homophones, homonyms, and compound words. We will also be participating in Daily 5 and sharing our writing with our peers.

Math

Math W.O.W.-quadrilateral
This week in math we will continue to work on geometry concepts. We will be creating our own quadrilaterals to determine a better understanding.

Students will have NO math homework, due to Spring Break approaching. I will be providing two-step word problems for them to practice over the break though. Learners will not have to turn it in to me; it's just for practice:)

Picture Day-Tuesday, March 4th

Science

This week we will be continuing to track the weather and search for patterns that happen through weathering...

Please make note that weather forecast projects are due on Thursday for everyone. I look forward to presentations!
