YOUR SPES PTO
SPRING ACTIVITIES IN THE WORKS!
How Your Support of SPES PTO Activities Touches Our Children
Along with our after care program and THE SPES FUND, events and functions sponsored by our SPES PTO help to "span the gap" between what you pay in tuition and what it really costs to educate our SPES students.
Spring is always an extremely busy time for our PTO because they host the Cougar Classic Golf Tournament, the SPES Spring Gala and all activities/functions associated with the Gala. In the next two weeks you are going to be hearing alot more about these functions and we hope that you will choose to get involved either by volunteering to assist with planning and execution OR by attending and participating! The reward is not only the opportunity to have a great time with other SPES parents but knowing that all funds raised through these activities goes directly into our classrooms gives a feeling that is indescribable!
Contact Jamie Nelson-Hebert, Advancement Director, or Connie Hart, SPES Events Coordinator, if you would like to learn more about getting involved this spring!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THE COUGAR CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT
The weekend of March 4th-5th is COUGAR CLASSIC WEEKEND! Why two days you ask? The tournament is on Saturday, March 5th but this year we are introducing a Pre-Cougar Classic Social for all golfers, their spouses and friends. The Friday, March 4th event is going to be a fun one held at Route 92 from 6-8 p.m. Whether you're playing in the tournament the next day or not, you will want to attend. Our teams will be vying for "THE GOLDEN PUTTER AWARD" by trying to convince you that you should vote for them! We can only imagine how hilarious this may get as some of our dads pull out all the stops during their turns at the microphone! Want more information or want to get involved in helping with the planning? Contact Connie Hart, SPES Events Coordinator, at connie_hart@stpiuselementary.org
