Camp Life Changes
Camp life changed people. A person simply could not go through those hardships without some sort of change. People's personalities changed, they adapted to endure their new lives. Families were separated at the start and if not at the start, they would separate by themselves. The prisoners' relationships with others suffered and their connections would eventually be severed.
The novel Night by Elie Wiewel made me realize that I take many things for granted. My nice clothes, my overflowing bookshelves, and my electronics are just a few things I don't appreciate as much as i should. This novel revealed to me how i should appreciate my life more than i currently do.
