Casino Night - February 7th
Tickets are on sale now for the West Bloomfield Education Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year, Casino Night! Play Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Color Wheel, and Bingo. Enjoy great appetizers, delicious desserts, late night pizza, and drinks. Dance to the music of Byron in Motion. Participate in the Silent Auction and win a weekend stay on the Old Mission Peninsula overlooking Lake Michigan, take in a weekend of skiing at Boyne Mountain while staying on site, or have a great dinner at a new Detroit restaurant.

West Bloomfield Youth Assistance Recognition Awards Application
WBYA recognizes young people from our community for making positive volunteer contributions every year. Nominations come from schools, hospitals, religious organizations, fire and police departments, and private citizens. Local, county, and state dignitaries participate in recognizing the nominees and making the event very special.
If your child volunteers in the community and you would like for them to be recognized, please take a moment to complete the application. This is a great way to acknowledge them. Below is the link to the application. Please don't let your child go unreognized.

Black History Month
Black History Month (also known as African American History Month) is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of blacks in U.S. History. The event grew as the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. This Year, the National Theme is 'African Americans and the Vote.' However, the theme at Sheiko is 'African African Authors of Children's Books'. This is keeping with our building-wide theme of Leading Literacy.
