email from Megan Lee, PTO FlightFest Co-Chair, regarding your volunteer role and expectations. If you did not receive an email, please contact our FlightFest team at All student volunteers were also invited to participate in a student volunteer meeting during their Flex21 bell on Thursday, 10/14.

When you report to Sycamore Junior High on Saturday, please find the volunteer hub under the Fleet Feet tent near the flagpole in front of the building.

Flight Fest Flight Plan

**Flight Fest will follow the Sycamore Community Schools Healthy Aves Plan. Our event will be held entirely outside. At this time guidelines state that outside activities do not require a mask, but you may wear one if you so choose. Restrooms will be accessible inside the building (mask required when inside). Masks & hand washing/sanitizing stations available, all volunteers who will be handing out medals or food/water will be wearing gloves. We ask that all participants and volunteers adhere to these guidelines. You can find the Healthy Aves Guide here *****

Picture Retake Day was Wednesday. All ordering from Strawbridge Studios is done entirely online at . Click on "Order Pictures and Yearbooks". Enter our picture code: FM375884 to begin the ordering process.

To make the distribution process easier, picture packages will be shipped directly to your home. When ordering, please use the name your student uses in school records.

Golf Teams WIN Championships!

Congratulations to our Boys and Girls Golf Teams for winning back-to-back GMC Championships. Both teams played excellent golf and Coaches Wolkoff (Boys) and Alexander (Girls) are very proud of the program's accomplishments.

A special shout-out goes to Eva Becerril who shot a GMC record round of 57 and won by 9 strokes over the second-place competitor.


Ski Club is BACK in 2022~

Whether you have never been on skis or a snowboard in your life, to a gnarly expert skier or boarder….Ski club invites you to 4 afternoon/evening trips to Perfect North Slopes. Enjoy the great outdoors with your friends as you glide down the slopes…. Ski & Board Club….Winter Fun for Everyone!

Reporting Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying Incidence

In an ongoing effort to provide a safe learning environment, Sycamore is requesting parents, students, and staff to inform administration (or whoever) of any perceived incidences of harassment, intimidation, or bullying.

Attention Registered Nurses

The Sycamore Community School District is currently looking for registered nurses who would like to be employed as substitute nurses. Applicants must have current nursing experience, preferably with children, special needs, diabetes and an active nursing license.
