HELP THE LIBRARY SPEND ITS GRANT MONEY!
Shall We Crowd-Source?
The Library just won a grant from the DOE to start an identity-based club, so we are starting the Identity and Representation in Literature Club. We received a nice chunk of money, and we want the GSA BLS Collective to help us spend it! We are looking for books about gender, race, identity, activism, and social justice -- books you feel should be shared with each other, and with the larger school community. They can be picture books, chapter books, teen fiction, nonfiction, photography books, graphic novels, biographies -- anything goes!
Don't worry about exact titles, authors, links, etc. Just a down and dirty email is fine. And this is totally voluntary -- only participate if this kind of thing is fun for you. (It brings me nothing but pure joy.)
Thanks for your input!
