"Paws for Books Book Fair" - Spring Scholastic Book Fair
Our spring Scholastic Book Fair will be in the Learning Commons from April 9th to April 13th (the week after Spring Break). Stop by the Learning Commons from 7:35 to 4:00 to shop for some great books of all ages or shop our online fair at http://www.scholastic.com/bf/meadowglenmiddleschool1 from April 4-17th. Because our theme is pets, we will have a donations drive to help a local shelter and rehabilitation center. Here is what students can bring to the Learning Commons to help our furry friends in need:
- 30 gallon trash bags
- tall kitchen trash bags
- unopened canned dog and cat food (any brand)
- unopened dry dog and cat food (any brand)
- new cat or dog toys
- dog collars of any size
- AAA and AA batteries
- newspapers
- plastic grocery bags
- bleach
- postage stamps
- Dawn dish washing doap
- dishwasher detergent
- liquid laundry detergent
- antibacterial soap
- facial tissues (lotion free)
- paper towels
- mops
- towels, sheets, blankets
- new feather dusters
- scrub brushes
- 75W reptile heat bulbs
- 100W Night Heat bulbs
- 48: UVB fluorescent bulbs

It is very likely we have lost some emails during the transition. Volleyball
Any rising 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in trying out for volleyball for the 2018-2019 school year need to attend an interest meeting Thursday April 12th right after school until 4:15 in Ms. Fischer's room B208. If you are interested in trying out and cannot attend this meeting you need to email Ms. Fischer at rfischer@lexington1.net.
There will be spring practice in May for rising 8th graders ONLY. These dates to follow.
There will be summer conditioning for girls who will be in 7th and 8th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. These dates to follow along with try-out dates.
