Why?
There are a variety of reasons people smoke including: peer pressure, a family history of smoking, and the media influence of tobacco industry's ads. These things acclimate people to the idea of smoking as being generally accepted or 'glamorous.'
Just remember, Where there's smoke, people die. Don't become a statistic.
