About Norm Gretzinger
Norman “Norm” Gretzinger cofounded EG Capital in New York City in 2003. He continues to manage operations at the private equity firm as managing director. In this role, he handles an array of activities, ranging from management of the EG Capital portfolio to matters of deal sourcing and negotiations. As managing director, Norm Gretzinger also handles the analysis of hundreds of consumer investment opportunities every year. In the past, he has led merger and acquisition operations for a major multinational banking corporation and worked as a general practice associate for an international law firm.
Norman Gretzinger supports a number of not-for-profit organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Bronxville School Foundation, and the Schools for Salone, a Seattle-based group dedicated to rehabilitating schools throughout Sierra Leone.
Beyond his professional activities and charity work Norm Gretzinger likes to stay active by playing in the Hockey North American and Westchester Skating Academy men’s hockey leagues. He additionally coaches and serves on the board with the Bronxville Youth Hockey Association.
