Athletic Events

8th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament

Please remember that masks must be worn in order to enter the games. Students may stay after school to attend the home games with a completed Permission Slip.

8th grade boys and girls basketball tournaments are this week. Please check the RMS athletics page for details about seeding and playing dates/times.

Track and Field Tryouts

Track tryouts will take place February 17th, 18th, and 19th from 4:30-6:30 PM

  • Tryouts are open to all 7th and 8th grade students
  • You must have an up-to-date physical on file in the front office
  • Any questions please contact Coach Unger, Shroyer, or Warner.

Golf Tryouts

Golf tryouts will take place February 23rd & (24th – If needed) from 4:30-6:30 PM at Olde Atlanta Golf Club

  • Tryouts are open to all 7th and 8th grade students
  • You must have an up-to-date physical on file in the front office
  • Any questions please contact Coach Kulikowski , or Coach Fuller;
  • Virtual Golf informational meetings will take place on February 2nd & 4th click the link found on the RMS Golf Website to attend

High School Transition Updates

Lambert High School

Lambert High School will send information to parents by email containing dates and instructions for making 9th grade course requests. Lambert counselors will also be hosting live sessions for our 8th graders during Flex Time next week. Information about those sessions will be posted to itsLearning for our virtual 8th graders.

Alliance Academy for Innovation

School Events and Information

Lambert High School Volunteer Tutoring

The Lambert HS Key Club has organized volunteer high school students who wish to tutor current RMS students. This could be extremely helpful during the COVID pandemic. Tutoring will help students who are academically falling behind, especially those at home with limited resources. This will also be an exciting way for middle school students to learn from and gain mentors through connections made with local LHS students!

Effective December 7th changes were made to the COVID direct exposure (at school) quarantine guidelines. Please click HERE for complete details.

2020-2021 RMS Yearbook

Hurry and get your yearbook before they're sold out! Thank you to all of you who have already purchased a yearbook! If you haven't yet ordered a yearbook, the deadline is this Friday at midnight. To guarantee that your child receives a yearbook in memory of this unusual year, click here to process your order. We will place our order next week. This year, we will not be ordering extra to be distributed as resources are more limited so place your order TODAY!

Teacher Appreciation Week - February 22 - 26th.

Help us spoil and show our appreciation to all our teachers and staff here at RMS. We are requesting donations so that daily we can do a little something. We are also accepting any sponsors gifts, gift cards, etc. to raffle for prizes to add some fun to the week.
