Dear Families

We are finally getting close to the start of the school year! We are eager to see students and begin building relationships with them.

All placement letters were mailed this week. If your student has not received their letter, they should receive it in the coming day or two. Teachers are also beginning to reach out to their students in a variety of manners.

During Phase I of our Return to Learning Plan, most students will be Remote, until we implement Phase II - the Hybrid Model (week of October 13).

Reminder that Wednesdays will be a full day of learning for students. However, it is broken out into a half-day of synchronous and half-day of asynchronous teaching and learning. We will follow that model on the 16th, as it is a Wednesday.

Below is some logistical information for students that is specific to their Cohort.

It is truly my honor and privilege to welcome everyone to the 2020/2021 School Year!

Sincerely,

John Nieratko

SCHOOL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION

Tuesday, September 15, 2020

Families with students in Grade 5 and families that were unable to pick up their supplies today are invited to drive through the Jordan/Jackson bus loop to pick up a bag of school supplies as well as various textbooks that may be used during remote learning. Families are asked to please place a sign in the passenger side window indicating the student's name for whom they are picking up. Staff members will be outside prepared to hand off the bag of supplies as you drive through.

Our goal is to manage the distribution in an orderly manner while maintaining and respecting social distancing guidelines along with the updated State directive regarding a mask or face covering. We ask that families coming through the loop wear a mask as well. Please roll down a window, remain in your car and a staff member will hand you your student’s supplies.

Please note that there will be future distribution dates as the school year gets underway to provide additional supplies and curriculum materials.
