Shout Outs
Delora has been INCREDIBLY helpful in getting Khan set up for 5th grade. She worked after school with me yesterday, and gave up her planning today to come in and work with my entire class. She just sent an email out offering to help the other teachers too. If you’d like to add that to your next newsletter, she’s very deserving of it. This is what teamwork is all about! Thanks!
BOOK IT!, a Pizza Hut initiative, motivates children to read by rewarding their reading accomplishments with praise, recognition and pizza. The teacher sets a reading goal for each child in the class. When their monthly goal is met, they will receive a Reading Award Certificate, good for a free one-topping Personal Pan Pizza®. The BOOK IT program runs from October through March.
