Clarenceville School District

Dear Faculty & Staff,

The beginning of a new school year is like the dawning of a new day allowing us to remember that our future holds a multitude of possibilities! I hope your summer was filled with relaxation and time with those you care about making memories of a lifetime. For those of us in education, the summer is an opportunity to reflect and refuel; it is a necessary component of our jobs. We are about to begin a new school year that I hope will be filled with hope, vision, and excitement. I want to wish you all great success in the 2019 - 20 school year!

This year will be a turning point for our district as we continue to shape our new District Strategic Plan; a plan that will provide you with direction, alignment, and that needs all of our commitment to make a difference for all stakeholders in our school district. The focus on the importance of teaching and learning will continue to drive the success of our students allowing them to be prepared for whatever is next in their lives. You all hold the key to that success and we are here to support you in that mission.

I do not need to remind you of how important your job is for our the children of our district. Your students need your commitment, your wisdom, and your care. My hope is that through the development of our new DSP that both you and our students will think of our schools as places where a community of learners comes together to do relative, important, interesting and consequential work. I hope you will embrace trying new things this year and that you continue to challenge your students in multiple ways.

Our 2019 - 20 learning journey begins on Wednesday, August 28 at 8:00 am in the high school cafeteria with our Welcome Back Breakfast and professional learning day. Come hungry as we will be serving a country buffet!

In closing, let me reaffirm to you all that I know each of us wants to make a difference in the lives of our students. As we move forward with the completion of the DSP effort, I invite you to think about what you will contribute to help us all blaze a new path towards student success. I am confident that we will create a new trail filled with successes and accomplishments as we work together to create the best year yet for the Clarenceville School District's students! I look forward to seeing you all and catching up on the morning of August 28th!
