It's all about the climb...
From The Principal's Desk...
As we continue to cruise along and gain momentum, I can't help but feel the excitement of gaining traction. With that traction comes a growing level of confidence. Nobody ever said returning back to school, Post Covid, would be easy. The efforts, care and compassion that I witness everyday is something special. As an educational leader, it's things like this that I cherish because we are all responsible for shaping foundations for EVERY student that enters our building. CMS is a special place where so many magical moments happen. We will always continue to build upon our efforts of improvement.
Also, I want to send out a special thank you to all who participated in our virtual conferences yesterday. If you were unable to secure a time, please reach out to your child's teachers to set up a virtual session during a convenient time.
Additionally, Mr. Rogalski and I are happy to annouce our first virtual Coffee & Conversation date. On Friday, November 5, 2021 at 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. Bring your coffee and your questions to the table. Mark your calendars and join in with the discussion, as we want to hear from you!
Finally, November is our month when we connect with CHIP-IN and begin our annual food and donation drive. This year we are working in conjunction with STUCO (Student Council) to help our local food pantry obtian non-perishable food items and money to aid and assist families in need. Collected items will be housed in homerooms and the homeroom with the most items will be celebrated. If you want to donate money to support this cause, there will be a donation jug in the main office. Loose change or any amounts will be accepted. If you want to donate by check, please make checks payable to: CHIP-IN and send them to my attention. Students can start bringing in items as early as next week. The collection period will end on Monday, November 22, 2021. Thanks in advance for considering helping assist us for this most worthy cause.
Wishing everyone a fun and safe Halloween weekend.
Yours in education,
Dean W. Packard - Principal
