Happy Spring Break! Reminder, no school April 7-14. Students return April 17, 2023.
Unplug ... during break
We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and happy holiday and Spring Break. I have asked our teachers to take time to "Unplug" during break, and we hope your family and you do the same. This is a great time to mentally recharge prior to the final push of the school year.
Get outside! If the weather is warm enough, catch some rays. Get some fresh air. Stretch your legs and take a walk. You need to refresh to finish out the school year strong!
We are excited to welcome students back to CTMS on Monday, April 17, 2023.
WV GSA Testing
We ask that during this time, students get a good nights rest and eat a good breakfast each day of testing.
More information on tips for testing week will follow in future editions of the CTMS Prowler.
End of the Year Trips/Activities
Your student's teachers have been working hard at planning trips and/or activities for the end of the year. Each grade level has planned something specific and fun for their students.
6th Grade will have a day long of activities on campus - including field day activities, minute to win it challenges, and a movie on 5/18/2023.
7th Grade will be leaving property on 5/17/2023 to attend a movie at Berekely Plaza and then will have a grade level lunch at a local park. Parents- please check out the permission slip (linked below) for current 7th graders. Students will report to school normally on May 17th. At approximately 9:00 AM, students will board buses for Berkeley Plaza! Students will depart the movies at 12:00 to return to a local park to eat a bagged lunch. Students will depart the park at 1:15 PM to return to school by 1:45 PM. Parent pickup for students at the movies or the park is prohibited unless emergent and cleared by administrator on duty.
8th Grade will be leaving property on 5/18/2023 to visit Adventure Park USA in Monrovia, Maryland. Permission slips (linked below) for current 8th graders are below and are due back Friday, April 21, 2023. Students will report to school normally on May 18th. At approximately 9:00 AM, students will board buses for Adventure Park! Students will depart the park at 2:00 PM. Parent pickup for students is 3:30 PM at CTMS. Students may NOT be picked up at the park.
Students in grades 7 and 8 will be meeting with administration to review eligibility requirements that are listed in the permission slip as well as be given a hard copy of the permission slip on Monday, April 17.
